Saturday 8th February @ LC12ftSSC

Rigging space at LC12ftSSC is limited and involves coordination between all the boats with the reduced deck size after the fire. There is additional rigging available at Woodford Bay Shed, located off Dunois St, please be mindful of the neighbours when parking trailers.

A briefing will be held 1200 at LC12ftSSC clubhouse, with racing starting on water not before 1400

A dash for cash will take place at 1330 from the start line off LC12ftSSC to the finish off the Start boat in its course starting position.

  • 1st prize – $40
  • 2nd prize – $30
  • 3rd prize – $15
  • Lucky draw (all boats that start the dash for cash) – $15

Prizes will be drawn at LC12ftSSC after racing, so come back to the club and enjoy a drink to support the club!

**Please note the changes to the sailing instructions 20.4, they read:

  • 20.4. Before going afloat all boats shall “Check In” by completing the “Sign On” sheet provided at the race administration desk adjacent to the noticeboard. After returning to shore all boats shall “Check Out” by completing the “Sign Off” sheet provided at the administration desk adjacent to the noticeboard no later than the protest time limit for that day. This includes boats that retire from the race.
    • 20.4.1. For Round 3a of the Championship, an additional “Sign On/Sign Off” sheet will be provided at Woodford Bay Shed for boats launching from that location, competitors are to follow the process outlined in rule 2.4.
    • 20.4.2. For Round 3a of the Championship, any boats launching from alternative locations must “Sign On/Sign Off” by texting the sail number, skippers name and crew name to PRO Andrew Glassock (0425300893). Additionally, these competitors are to sail past the stern of the start boat to notify they are on course.

Trailer parking available on the hill above in Salton Reserve, on the day of racing, access via Roseby St off the roundabout at the end. Racing start time is 1400.
